About

In a recent workshop, we explored sensory machine learning-based interactions using accessible tools. This technology allows us to recognize patterns in data like images and sounds, enabling novel ways of interacting with objects. The workshop aimed to introduce the basics of machine learning and its potential for sensor-based interactions.

Focus

Teachable Machine

I was assigned the keyword "orderly," and as a response, I decided to develop an organized order system using blocks featuring a variety of shapes and colors. In the end, I successfully crafted four distinct orders (with the option to create more as needed) for the teachable machine to identify and recognize.

Learning

To ensure accurate recognition by the teachable machine, I captured multiple images of each specific block order. It's important to note that lighting conditions and shadows played a critical role in the teaching process, and these factors needed to be carefully considered and accounted for.

Recognizing

Following the training of the machine with the specific block orders, I conducted tests to assess whether the machine could accurately recognize them.
